Delete my account

1. Open Profile → Edit profile → Delete account.
2. If you organise any competitions, settle them first: the screen lists them one by one and lets you transfer the organiser role to a member, or delete the competition. This is the only way you cannot accidentally wipe a setting crew’s work. Competitions you do not organise are left automatically, with nothing to decide.
3. We email a 6-digit code to your account address — your mailbox is the second proof the request is yours. Enter it.
4. Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no grace period.

Send an email from your account’s address — that is how we verify the request is really yours.

Write the request

Or email comp.setter.app@gmail.com directly, with the subject “Comp Setter account deletion request”.

We action the request within 30 days and email you to confirm once the deletion is done. The outcome is the same as the in-app route; if you organise any competitions, tell us in the email whether to delete them or who to transfer them to.

• Your account: email address and display name.
• Any pending sign-in codes.
• Your competition memberships and the roles attached to them.
• Your entries and results as a climber.
• The competitions you choose to delete during the process, with all their contents: boulders, plan, photos and members.

• Competitions you transfer, and competitions organised by someone else, are not deleted. Your name is removed from them and your memberships are erased, but the boulders you set there stay, photos included — otherwise deleting one account would destroy a whole setting crew’s work. What you uploaded to a competition belongs to that competition from then on.
• Backups. We keep 14 days of rolling backups. Your data is gone for good at most 14 days after deletion.
• Crash reports already sent to Firebase Crashlytics. They contain no email address and expire under Google’s retention policy (roughly 90 days).
